House history, what is in your past?

The other day I saw a post by "This Old House" on Facebook about house history. I know ours was built in 1916 and has two huge wooden beams running the length of the house. It also has a few other cool things like  hardwood floors (that I'm guessing is gorgeous , a floor heater vent thingy (no, I'm not up to date on my terms!) a heating system that runs through the house with channels for the piping in the upper corners of each room and so on. 40V Cordless Mower

It looks Like Ryobi is coming out with a cordless electric mower. Will it give the Newton a run for it's money? I'm not sure but I do like Ryobi products (even if they were ridiculously sued for 1.5 million due to a dumbass and a dumbass court!)
